Understanding Program Calculation Groups
Program calculation groups are collections of program calculation rules that are used to calculate device control scores. During the program transaction process, the system executes the program calculation rules defined in the program calculation group referenced on the program subscription. The rules within a program calculation group are defined in a specific sequence, allowing control over the order in which the rules are executed.
Program calculation groups are associated with specific program subscriptions and program subscriptions types (or both). When assigned to program subscriptions, program calculation groups contain the program calculation rules to be used to calculate device scores associated with the device locations defined for the program subscription. Program calculation groups associated with program subscription types are those groups considered valid for program subscriptions of that type.
Program calculation groups are defined by the following:
Division: The division to which the calculation group belongs.
Calculation Group Class: The class to which the program calculation group belongs (default is Program Calculation Group).
Program Calculation Rules List: One or more program calculation rules belonging to the program calculation group
