Defining Failure Modes
The Failure Mode portal is used to display and maintain failure modes.
You can access the portal from Admin, select F, then select Failure Mode.
The following zones may appear as part of the portal's Main tab page:
• Failure Mode List: This zone lists all failure mode records. Broadcast a record to display the details of the selected record.
• Failure Mode: This zone provides information about what has failed, such as arcing, binding, backward, and so on.
• Included on Failure Profile: This zone lists the failure profiles associated with a particular failure mode.
