Service Area Criteria
A service area defines a company’s territorial boundary. This may mean that your organization may define the service area geographically, by region or territory, or by business unit, such as construction, inventory, or purchasing, or by any other business need.
Service areas are used for scheduling and routing purposes:
Matches the service area defined on the activity to the service area where the crew is allowed to work.
Service area can be defined at the crew level, which is the most common method, or on the employee record or crew shift.
