Inventory is tracked, ordered, and received from vendors and allocated in the Inventory system. As inventory is allocated to work, the system passes this information back to the Work Management system so that maintenance managers and crews know that their parts are available.

The preventive maintenance functionality allows users to predefine maintenance strategies for assets or specific asset locations. This includes defining template work orders and preventative maintenance triggers to manage the frequency of each preventative maintenance work order. Also included in the preventive maintenance functionality is the ability to define maintenance events to manage event based preventive maintenance such as shutdown work.

Purchasing functions can be used to plan, initiate, and process purchases and purchasing contracts from requisition to invoicing. The system also manages vendors, designated buyers, and stock items.

Construction Work Management functions can be used to plan and manage work related to construction work. This includes the ability to create work designs and construction work orders, as well as the ability to perform activity reconciliation prior to passing information to a fixed asset system.

Resources encompass any object that contributes to the running of your organization. This includes crews and crew shifts, employees, equipment, contacts, documents, standard notes and attachments, and so on.

Work management is the process by which work orders are requested, planned, approved and activated, work is performed and then work is finished and closed. While the work is being performed, materials, equipment assets and labor are tracked, as applicable to your business processes.
