Work Categories
A work category represents a broad grouping of work. Some examples of work categories can include Replacements, Repairs, Periodics, Vandalism, Regulatory, and Inspections.
Work categories, in conjunction with work classes, enable users to filter their work by the work category. For example, if a particular work class is selected, a user will only see the related work categories associated with that particular work class. Users are also able to generate reports on each of the work categories.
Work categories can be defined at an organization level using access groups. What this means is that only users associated with a particular organization and who are included as part of that access group will be able to see the values for the work categories associated with that branch of the organization.
