Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management and Oracle Utilities Operational Device Management are built upon a common asset management architecture. Both products include functionality which must be licensed correctly in order to be used. The table below provides information about these functional areas. Prerequisites: • Oracle Database Enterprise Edition • Oracle WebLogic Server Enterprise Edition Restrictions: Licensing restrictions are only enforced within the application using application services and user access roles. While it is possible for administrators to enable non licensed functionality, use of this functionality without a license is prohibited. The Purchase Requisition portal is included in Enterprise Edition. Read-only access is provided for the remaining Purchasing portals as part of this license without the Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management Purchasing license. For read/write access to these Purchasing portals Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management Purchasing must be licensed separately. |

Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management Connector for Enterprise Resource Planning | Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management Connector for Enterprise Resource Planning provide a suite of integration APIs and Enterprise Business Objects to assist with integration to external applications. These connectors are specifically designed to assist with integration to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications but can be used for integration to any external application. Purchase of the Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management Connector for Enterprise Resource Planning includes read-only access to the Purchasing modules. This allows ERP clients to see the data that they load with the ERP connector. Additionally, this connector includes a series of work order APIs which can be used for integration to the Work Order Activity portal. When using the work order APIs for connecting to 3rd party mobile applications where field workers will need to record cost charges and work order activity closeout information, the 'Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management 3rd Party Mobile Connector' is required for each field resource.
