20.16 Maintain Customer Group

The Customer Group Maintenance screen is used to create groups of the customer codes, and these groups can be used for charge calculation.

To maintain customer group:
  1. On the Homepage, from Teller mega menu, under Branch Maintenance, click Customer Group Maintenance or specify Customer Group Maintenance in the search icon bar and select the screen.
    The Customer Group Maintenance summary screen is displayed.

  2. Click the Add icon icon.
    The Customer Group Maintenance (New) screen is displayed.

  3. On the Customer Group Maintenance screen, specify the fields. For more information on fields, refer to the field description table.

    Note:

    The fields, which are marked with an asterisk, are mandatory.

    Field Description

    Customer Group Code

    Specify the customer group code.

    Customer Group Code Description

    Specify the description of the customer group code.

    Customer Number

    Specify the customer number. You can also select from the list of values.

    Note:

    You cannot add the same customer number in two different groups.

    Customer Name

    Displays the description for the specified customer number.

    Reset

    Click Reset to reset the customer numbers added.

    Add Customer

    Click Add Customer to add the customer numbers specified.

    Customers Added

    Displays the details of customer numbers added to the table. Once you add a customer number to the table, you can click the necessary icon to edit or delete the added entry.

  4. Click Save.
    The summary view is displayed with the configured details of customer groups.
