18.9 Account Statement Request

The Teller can use the Account Statement Request screen to initiate an account statement request for a customer account.

To initiate account statement request:
  1. On the Homepage, from Teller mega menu, under Customer Service, click Account Statement Req or specify Account Statement Req in the search icon bar and select the screen.
    The Account Statement Request screen is displayed.

  2. On the Account Statement Request screen, specify the fields. For more information on fields, refer to the field description table.

    Note:

    The fields marked as Required are mandatory.

    Field Description

    Customer Account

    Specify the account number for which the account statement needs to be requested.

    Account Name

    Displays the name of the specified account number.

    Request Date

    Displays the current posting date as the request date.

    Statement Type

    Specify the type of statement requested (Detailed or Summary).

    From Date

    Specify the start date for the date range.

    To Date

    Specify the end date for the date range.

    Balance Type

    Specify if the account statement needs to be generated based on Book Date or Value Date.

    Narrative

    Displays the default narrative as Account Statement, and it can be modified.

  3. Specify the charge details. For information on the fields in the Charge Details segment, refer to Charge Details.
  4. Click Submit.
    The request is handed off to the FLEXCUBE Universal Banking system to initiate an account statement request.
