10.18 Translation maintenance

This screen is used for defining certain inputs associated with branch, self-participant bank, currency and SSI mnemonics associated with the self-participant customer which are required for a smooth straight-through-processing between the syndication and loan modules.

Specify the User ID and Password, and login to Homepage.

1. On the Homepage, type OLDTRANS, click next arrow.
   The Translation maintenance screen is displayed.

2. You can enter following details in this screen.
   • Source code: STP
   • Translation Type: SSI_MNEMONIC
   • External Branch: Branch code of the self-participant customer
   • External value: Self-participant customer ID@ Currency@ Branch code
   • Example: 00124@USD@002

   wherein:

   • 00124 - Self-participant bank customer ID
   • USD - Currency
   • 002 - Branch code of the self-participant bank

   Internal Branch - Branch code of the self-participant customer.

   Internal Value - Mnemonic as defined for the self-participant bank for the branch and currency combination in the Settlement instructions maintenance.
