9.1.1 Maintenance Required in OBCL for Local Clearing Message Generation

This topic describes the maintenance required in OBCL for local clearing message generation.

The maintenance required in OBCL are given below:

• In the Settlement Instruction Maintenance screen (LBDINSTR), Payment By is set to Clearing and clearing details are specified for the counterparty in the settlement instruction.
• The generated local clearing messages will be shown in the Messages sub screen of the Transaction View screen wherever available.
• SWIFT MX Type displays N06, pacs.008, and pacs.009 for the equivalent message type CUST_TRANSFER on the Message View screen (OLDMSGVW).
