4.1 Change SMTP Server Password

This topic explains systematic instructions to change the SMTP server password.

Before changing the password of the SMTP server, make sure that to take a backup of the fcubs.properties file from the current EAR file.

1. In Oracle Universal Banking Installer, load the existing property file, and go to the step that can define branch properties.
   The Property File Creation - SMTPS/DMS screen displays.

   User Password	Specify the new password.

2. After deploying the EAR file, inform the concerned users and groups about the password change.
3. Test whether the password change was successful, and in case the test is not successful, repeat the above steps and test.

   Note:

   Try the above process in UAT or any other test environment before changing the password in a production environment.
