2.5.1 Prerequisites

Before the change the password of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition data source, make sure that the following activities are completed:

1. Determine the downtime for the password change activity.
2. Inform all concerned users and groups.
3. Ensure that all users have logged out of the Oracle Banking Corporate Lending system.
4. Stop the Oracle Banking Corporate Lending application.
5. To stop the target server to which the data sources point, follow the steps below:
   1. Log in to the Oracle WebLogic application server.
   2. Go to the Home, click Environments and click Servers.
   3. Select the server and click Stop to stop the server.
      This completes the prerequisites.
