3 Change Host Schema Password

This topic explains systematic instructions to change the Host Schema password in the Oracle WebLogic application server.

  1. Log in to the Oracle WebLogic application server.
  2. Go to the Home, and then Services, and then Data Sources.
    A table that contains the list of all data sources created in the application server is displayed.
  3. Click the data source jdbc/fcjdevDS.
    The Settings for FCUBDs screen displays.
  4. On the Settings for FCUBDs screen, click the Connection Pool tab.
    The Connection Pool tab displays.

  5. To change the password, specify the following fields.

    Field Description
    Password Specify the new password.
    Confirm Password Specify the new password again.
  6. Click Save.
  7. To test the data source, select the Monitoring and Testing tab under it.

  8. Select the target server, and click Test Data Source.
    The system displays a message confirming successful testing.
  9. After getting the message, restart the application server.
  10. Start the Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking.
  11. Log in to Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking. Launch a summary screen or execute a simple transaction to test.

    Note:

    Try the above process in UAT or any other test environment before changing the password in a production environment.
