2.2 Install Open Development Tool
This topic explains the systematic instructions to install Open Development Tool.
To install ODT, follow the steps given below:
- Click Next.Choose Oracle FLEXCUBE Application window is displayed.

- Select Open Development Tool.
- Click Next.Choose Oracle FLEXCUBE Component window is displayed.

- Select Build Application as Oracle FLEXCUBE component for installation.
- On the Choose Oracle FLEXCUBE Component window, specify the fields.For more information on fields, refer to the field description table.

Field Description Operating System Specify the operating system in which you are installing Oracle FLEXCUBE. Application Server Specify the application server on which you are installing Oracle FLEXCUBE. - Click Next.Build Process window is displayed.

- On the Build Process window, specify the fields.For more information on fields, refer to the field description table.

Field Description ODT JNDI Specify the JNDI for the ODT. Logger Path Specify the path where the logs have to be written. Provider_URL Specify the Provider_URL. - Click Next.Build Process - Source and Destination directories, Application Name window is displayed.

- On the Build Process - Source and Destination directories, Application Name window, specify the fields.For more information on fields, refer to the field description table.

Field Description Source Directory Specify the source directory. Click the directory icon to browse to the source directory location. The source directory must contain src, ToolWeb folders. If the required folders are not present, then the error message is displayed. Multiple Sources Check the box Multiple Sources to use multiple source directories. In the case of Cluster/Patch releases, you can get the files from multiple source directories. If you check this box, the installer will not allow you to specify the source directory on this screen. Destination Directory Specify the destination directory. Click the directory icon to browse to the source directory location. Application Name Specify the desired name for the application. For example: RAD. - Click Next.Build Process - Multiple Source Path window is displayed.

- On the Multiple Source Path window, select all the source directories. The Installer will copy the sources from multiple locations into the destination directory.You can have consolidated sources in the destination directory.
- Click Next.Build Process - Status window is displayed.

- On the Build Process - Status window, click the Copy button to copy sources to the destination location.
- Click the Build button to build the war file in the destination location. The system displays the following screen when the copying is complete.Build Process - Copying completed Status window is displayed.

- The system displays the following screen when the build is completed.Build Process - Build completed Status window is displayed.
