40 Maintain Label Code

This topic provides systematic instructions to maintain label code.

Label Codes needs to be maintained in CSTB_LABELS (in the current environment language) for proper generation of files by ODT. Label Codes can be maintained in the FLEXCUBE through ODT itself.

1. Click on the Label code Icon found in the top right portion of the screen.
   Label Codes can be maintained through this screen. The screen provides the option to deploy the label codes directly to FLEXCUBE schema.
2. Maintain a new Label Code as follow:
   1. For maintaining a new label code, add a new label code as required in theLabel Code field.
      Label code should start with LBL_.
   2. Provide the description of the field in the Label Description field.
   3. Select the Label Type based on the requirement.
   4. Select the Operation field as Insert.
   5. Click on the Deploy button.
      ODT will insert the label code provided to CSTB_LABELS. Language code will be taken from the language code of the current environment code. More than one label code can be deployed at one time. Note the following while creating new label codes:

      1. Label Code should start with LBL_.
      2. Label Code should not contain any special characters except Underscore(_).
3. Maintain missing labels as follow:
   1. Click on the Fetch Missing Labels button to fetch the missing labels for the screen.
      All the label codes present in the function id which is not maintained in CSTB_LABELS get fetched and displayed in the table.
   2. Provide a proper description if required and deploy the label codes.
4. Fetch all Label Codes for the screen as follow:
   1. Click on the Fetch All Labels button.
      All the label codes used in the function Id displayed in the table.
   2. If required, update the Label Description of any field.
5. Update an existing Label as follow:
   1. Fetch all Labels used in the function Id.
   2. Change the Label Description of the label codes for which update has to be done.
   3. Change the Operation to Update.
   4. Check the particular label checkbox and click on Deploy.
      The selected label codes get updated.
