3.1.2 Limits Domain Changes

  1. Line Code Maintenance: Enhanced with the following facility parameters to facilitate defaulting during facility maintenance:
    • Limit Amount Basis: New option, Min (Limit Amount, Drawing Power), supports creation of DP-backed line code templates.
    • Drawing Power Backed: New flag supports creation of DP-backed facilities using a line code template.
    • Non-Revolving Special (Intra-day Revolving): New option supports creation of Non-Revolving Special lines using a line code template.
    • Class Code: Supports association of a fee class code at line code maintenance level and defaults all associated fee rules in facility-level fee preferences.
    • Utilization Tracking: New options, LOCAL and GLOBAL, are available.
    • Category: Defaults the facility category when creating a facility using the template.
  2. Facility Maintenance: Enhanced with the following updates:
    • Option to associate a Line Code Template during maintenance, defaulting values from Line Code Maintenance.
    • A single Status field captures both user-defined and system-derived statuses, such as Expired.
    • A streamlined single data segment captures all restriction types, including source restrictions, at facility level.
  3. Accounting Handoff Retry Summary: Accounting handoff can now be re-triggered through the Accounting Handoff Retry Maintenance screen.
  4. Utilization Transactions Query: New drill-down inquiry options are available for Utilization and Utilization Log inquiries for Liability and Facility.
  5. Customer-to-Liability Link Maintenance: Now sources exposures from Exposure domain maintenance and common attributes from the Common domain.
  6. Liability Merger Maintenance: A new Status field displays the merger status.
  7. Liability Merger Process: Log details for various entities, previously available in Merger Maintenance, are now available in the Liability Merger Process screen.
  8. Limit Utilization: A separate Limits Utilization option is now available, consolidating all related actions under one option.
  9. Facility View Summary: A drill-down summary view is provided as an alternative.
  10. Fungibility of Limits: OBELCM now supports sharing limits across multiple lines under a liability to improve risk management.
    • User can define fungibility rules across a customer’s lines and enable a line as fungible to apply those rules.
    • Real-time transaction handling is supported: If a fungible line lacks sufficient balance, the system can automatically transfer facility amounts from other fungible lines based on configured rules, and automatically revert transfers during de‑utilization which is system derived based on highest due balance.
    • New facility fields display line‑level details of fungible transfers (In and Out amounts).
