3.1.2.23 Transaction Authorization
This topic allows the users to review and approve pending transactions.
- Access the Authorization sub-screen by clicking the
Authorize button in the Detail screen.When the Authorization Status is set to Unauthorized, the Summary screen displays only unauthorized transactions. Double-clicking a transaction opens the record in the Detail screen.The Authorization sub-screen is displayed.
- The maker is required to review the Transaction Preview
Details screen and select the Confirm Transaction
Input checkbox when any of the following conditions are
met.
- Transaction Preview Required flag is set as Yes for Outbound Cross Border Transaction Input function in Transaction Preview preferences.
- The transfer amount is more than the threshold amount.
- On the Authorization screen, use the following
buttons:

Button Description Authorize Allows the checker to authorize the transaction. Once the checker authorizes the transaction, the Authorization Status will be updated to Authorized. Reject Allows the checker to enter Authorizer Remarks and reject the transaction. Once the checker rejects the transaction, the Authorization Status will be updated to Rejected. Send to Modify Allows the checker to enter Authorizer Remarks and send the transaction back to the maker for modification. Once the checker sends the transaction for modification, the Authorization Status will be updated to Unauthorized and the Send to Modify flag will be set to Yes.
Note:- The user cannot modify, delete, or copy the transaction once the checker rejects the transaction.
- The user can modify, delete, or copy the transaction once the checker sends the transaction for modification.
- After the user modifies the transaction, the Sent to Modify flag is cleared, and the Transaction Preview flag is reset.
Note:
- All applicable re-key fields are included on the Authorization screen. If re-key is not required for certain fields, only the fields selected for re-key will be displayed. Other fields will not be available on the Authorization screen. Fields for which re-key is applicable will appear as blank and will be editable by the user.
- During the authorization process, the system checks that the values entered by the authorizer in the re-key fields match the actual values in the transaction details.
