2.7.6 Debit/Credit Accounting
Accounting entries for credit and debit accounting are handed off to accounting system with debit/credit liquidation accounting code linked at Network Currency preferences.

Charge/tax related entries are handed off along with debit liquidation details. Transaction code, Debit/Credit indicator and Netting flag is applicable based on accounting code maintained.
Note:
For book transfer reversals, credit/debit advice can be generated in Mail, SWIFT MT, or SWIFT MX formats.
If SWIFT is selected as the media in Customer Advice Preferences Maintenance (Function ID: PMDCSADV), the system refers to the Format Preference value in the existing Bilateral Agreement for Cash Messages (Function ID: PMDCMAGT).
Based on the message type specified in the agreement, either SWIFT MT (MT900/MT910) or SWIFT CBPR+ format (camt.054) is generated.
