2 Gateway Functions - An Overview
- Introduction
Integration of multiple applications and solutions is a key aspect of modern systems. Specialized applications deployed across different platforms and infrastructures require seamless communication and integration with Oracle Banking Trade Finance for data exchange. The Oracle Banking Trade Finance Integration Gateway, referred to as the Gateway in this document, addresses these integration requirements. - Inbound Application Integration
Oracle Banking Trade Finance Inbound Application Gateway provides XML based interfaces thus enhancing the need to communicate and integrate with the external systems. The data exchanged between Oracle Banking Trade Finance and the external systems are in the form of XML messages. These XML messages are defined in OBTF in the form of XML Schema Documents (XSD) and are referred to as ‘OBTF formats’. - Outbound Application Integration
The Outbound Application Integration is also called the Oracle Banking Trade Finance Notify Application Integration layer. This application layer sends out notification messages to the external system whenever events occur in Oracle Banking Trade Finance. - Responsibilities of Integration Gateway
