2.2.2 Guarantees/Standby LCs

1. Counter Guarantee amount and expiry date validations
   System enhanced to capture Counter Guarantee amount, Counter Guarantee currency and Counter Guarantee expiry date.

   • The expiry date of the Local Guarantee/Counter guarantee should be earlier than the expiry date of the Counter Guarantee/Counter-Counter Guarantee respectively.
   • The Undertaking Currency and Amount of the Local Guarantee and Counter Guarantee should be the same.
2. Disabling SWIFT Character validation

   Provision to support only MAIL advices for domestic Guarantees and SBLCs. Non-SWIFT Guarantee/SBLC flag is introduced in product maintenance to support the same.

3. Non-Extension Notification
   The system has been enhanced to generate Non-Extension Notification messages from Guarantee Amendments.

   • Guarantee Amendment screens enhanced with a new field Automatic Extension – Non-Renewal.
   • MT785 messages for B2B, and MT727/MT785 messages for B2C, will be generated as part of the AMND event.
   • MT785 generation as a tracer from LCDTRGEN under the TRGN event will be de-supported.
