1.2.2 Enhancements to Existing Processes

The following are the enhancement to the existing process as a part of 14.8.2.0.0 Release:

  1. Nostro Validation for Duplicate Debit - MT 400, MT756, MT 202

    OBTFPM to process liquidation based on incoming MT400,MT756 messages. The system validates if an underlying MT202 is involved, ensuring that duplicate liquidations are not created. Additionally, the system uses the correct Bridge GL account, in cases where OBPM has already debited the Nostro account and created funds in the Bridge GL.

    The enhancements are supported in the below list of processes/screens:
    1. Export Collection Liquidation
    2. Export LC Liquidation
  2. Acceptance date to be the date of origination of the message and not the message received date

    Incoming MT752-Authorisation to Pay, Accept or Negotiate message is received by paying/accepting/negotiating bank. The date when the MT752 message was generated by the Issuing banks end need to populate in the 'Acceptance Message date field' in Export LC Drawing Update process.

    OBTFPM populates the incoming MT752 message generation date in the 'Acceptance Message date field' in Export LC Drawing Update process.

    The enhancements are supported in the below list of processes/screens:

  3. Status change for STP of existing messages (legacy messages)

    As part of this enhancement, user can review various Statuses for Incoming Legacy swift messages. Incoming Swift messages will undergo various Status change based on User/system actions.

  4. Charges/Commission exchange rate

    In OBTPFM Negotiated Exchange Rates can be captured only for Liquidation Components for Drawing/ Collection Bills Processes. As part of this enhancement, Negotiated Exchange rate, if applicable, is to be enabled for capture in Cash Collateral and Commission/ Charges/ Tax section, also for all relevant processes.

  5. Common Settlement Account Placeholder
    Settlement accounts for different debit and credit components are populated based on default settlement account maintenance. This enhancement provides placeholders to use particular debit/credit accounts for all the debits/credits to the customer respectively.

  6. Counter Guarantee Expiry Date Validation for STP Upload

    BG Issuance & Amendment OBTFPM system enhanced to capture the Counter Guarantee Expiry Date and Counter Guarantee Amount along with Received Party as Applicant Bank when task initiated through incoming swift Message.
