3.1.8 Copy a Product

This topic describes the systematic instruction to copy a product.

Often, you may have a situation where you need to create a product that closely resembles an existing product. In such a case, instead of entering all the details for the product, you can copy the details of one product on to another, changing only those attributes that are different for the new product.

1. To copy the details of a product from the Product Detailed View, click copy icon.
   All the attributes of the old product, barring the Product Code, will be copied.
2. You will be prompted to enter a new Product Code. Enter the Code and click on save icon.
3. You can make relevant changes to the fields that have had the inputs copied on to them from the old product and you can again save your new product.
