3.5.9 Maintain Settlement Parties

1. On the Home page, specify SEDSPRTY in the text box, and click next arrow.

   The Maintain Settlement Parties screen is displayed.

2. On Settlement Parties Maintenance, specify the fields.

   For more information on the fields, refer the below table.

   Field	Description
   Counterparty	Specify a counterparty from the adjoining option list. The list displays all valid counterparties maintained in the system. You can choose the appropriate one.
   Market Code	Specify a market code from the adjoining option list. The list displays all valid market codes maintained in the system. You can choose the appropriate one.
   Safe Keeping Location ID	Specify the safe keeping location ID from the adjoining option list. The list displays all valid location IDs maintained in the system. You can select an appropriate one.
   Security Product	Select the security product from the adjoining option list. All the valid security products maintained in the system are displayed here. You can select an appropriate one.
   Settlement SKL	The system defaults the place of settlement. However, you can specify the settlement SKL from the adjoining option list.
   Security Id	Specify the security ID from the adjoining option list. All the valid security IDs maintained in the system are displayed here. You can select an appropriate one.
   P button	Click the P populate button. The system sets the BUYRSELL field. It displays the Counterparty BIC code or Address Line 1 to Address Line 4 if the BIC is not maintained for the counterparty.
   BUYR/SELL	The system displays the BUY or SELL field
   Party Type	Specify the party type from the adjoining option list. The list displays all valid party types maintained in the system. You can choose the appropriate one.
   Counterparty Account	Specify the counterparty account number.
   Address1	Specify the address line 1 for the selected Party ID.
   Address2	Specify the address line2 for the selected Party ID.
   Address3	Specify the address line 3 for the selected Party ID.
   Address4	Specify the address line 4 for the selected Party ID.

   During creation of Security deal, the system defaults the values from ‘Deal Settlement Parties Maintenance’ in the ‘Parties’ tab of Securities Deal Input screen from the Parties maintenance done for the combination of counterparty and Market code.

   The party details are defaulted to the Bank leg of the Deal (i.e. BB or BS).

   • BB – SELL, DEAG, PSET
   • BS –BUYR, REAG, PSET

   The system gets the BIC or address for the counterparty from customer leg and sets the BUYR or SELL record.

3. The settlement party maintenance are defaulted in Parties tab for the Bank Leg. You can capture the values if there is no maintenance available.
4. You can amend the defaulted settlement parties maintenance in Parties tab before authorization of the Security Deal.
5. The system performs the following validations in this screen:
   • On selection of the Party ID for Party type ‘DEAG’, the system defaults the BIC code of the Party ID or Address Line 1 to Address Line 4 if the BIC is not maintained for the Party ID (counterparty).
   • You cannot edit the fields Address Line 1 to Address Line 4 from ‘Party Details’ grid if any one value is set from BIC or CIF.
   • The system allows you to modify the fields Address Line 1 to Address Line 4 from ‘Party Details’ grid if Party ID is not selected. The value specified for Address Line 1 should satisfy BIC code validation.
   • The system validates when neither Party ID nor Address Line 1 field is specified on save of the record.
