1.5.1 Process FATCA Withholding Rule Maintenance Screen

If a with-holdable payment is to be made to a recalcitrant customer or to a non participating foreign financial institution, it is necessary to withhold 30% of the with-holdable payment and transmit the rest to the beneficiary. You can define the unique rule using FATCA Withholding Rule Maintenance screen.

Specify User ID and Password and login to Home screen.

1. On Home screen, type TADTRFRM in the text box, and click next.
   Treasury FATCA Rule Maintenance screen displays.

2. On Treasury FATCA Rule Maintenance screen, specify the fields.

   Note:

   The fields which are marked in asterisk are mandatory.

   For more information on fields, refer to the field description table.

   Field	Description
   Withholding Rule Code	Specify the withholding rule code.
   Withholding Rule Description	Specify the description for the selected withholding rule code.
   Default	Select the default value to be returned if no expression is satisfied from the drop-down list. Following are the options available in the drop-down list: Refer Withhold No Withhold

3. Click the Exit button to close the screen.
