29.6.3 Preferences
- On the Credit Derivative Deal Product Definition screen, click Preferences.
Portfolio Preferences screen is displayed.
- On the Portfolio Preferences screen, specify the details as displayed.
For Field Description, see the below table.
- On the Portfolio Preferences screen, click Other.
On the Portfolio Preferences with Other tab is displayed.

Field Description External in Revaluation Source field
Select this check box to accept the values externally posted under EXRV and EXRR events and stop the revaluation entries
Caution:
This option is allowed only if the branch revaluation is set at the holding level in Credit derivative processing branch parameter screen
Revaluation Source
Select the option from the list displayed.
- Internal
- External
- None
If External is selected
Entries in all the subsequent fields under revaluation section to be validated as not allowed.
Revaluation of settled and unsettled position flags should also not be allowed for input.
If None is selected,
Entries in all the subsequent fields under revaluation section to be validated as not allowed.
If Internal is selected,
Validation to work as is in case of SE for these fields.
Trade Date Accounting Preferences
Specify the following details:
Trade Date Accounting
Check this box to indicate that the nominal and discount premium entries should be recognized on trade date.
Amortize Discount/Premium for each Deal
Check this box to indicate that the entries gets posted on trading profit or loss which is a delta of discount, premium and accrued entries.
This is only applicable for Non-Accrual accounting Basis.
Book Accrued Interest on Trade Date
Check this box to indicate that the Accrued Interest(PUCM/PUEX/SOCM/SOEX) should be recognized on trade date.
