1.2 Maintain Tax Category

This topic describes the systematic instruction to maintain tax category.

You need to maintain valid Tax Categories in the system in order to apply tax on products or contracts.

Specify User ID and Password and login to Home screen.

1. On Home screen, type TADTRCAT in the text box, and click next.
   Treasury Tax Category Maintenance screen displays.

2. On Treasury Tax Category Maintenance screen, specify the fields.

   Note:

   The fields which are marked in red asterisk are mandatory.

   For more information on fields, refer to the field description table.

   Table 1-1 Treasury Tax Category Maintenance- Field Description

   Field	Description
   Tax Category	Tax category needs to be maintained only if tax rules of your country require maintenance of tax allowances and tax waivers for customers.
   Description	Enter a tax category along with a description. This becomes a valid tax category maintained in the system.

3. Click the Exit button to close the screen.
