1.2.1 Deploy Integration Adapter EAR from WebLogic Administration Console

This topic explains the systematic instructions to deploy integration adapter EAR from WebLogic administration console.

To deploy the Oracle Banking Treasury Management application from the Oracle WebLogic administration console, follow the steps below:
  1. Start the Administrative Console of the WebLogic application server. Specify the Oracle WebLogic Admin Console URL in the address bar in an internet browser. For example: http://10.10.10.10:1001/console

  2. Specify the WebLogic administrator Username and Password and click Log In.
    The Oracle Weblogic Server - Home screen displays.

  3. Deploy an Integration adapter EAR. For e.g. OBCLExtAdapter.ear or ExtAdapter.ear.
  4. Go to Deployment.
  5. Click the Lock & Edit button to enable the buttons.
    This action enables the buttons on the screen.
    The Summary of Deployments screen displays.

  6. Click Install.
    The Install Application Assistant window displays.

  7. To specify the path/location of the enterprise archive file, click the upload your file(s) link.
  8. Specify the EAR file path. Click the Browse button to locate the file.
  9. Click Next.
    The Install Application Assistant - Messages window displays.

  10. Select the application Adapter EAR from the list.
  11. Click Next.
    The Install Application Assistant - Choose Installation Type and Scope window displays.

  12. Choose the targeting style as Install this deployment as a library.
  13. Click Next.

  14. Select the target of the application. Choose the server AdminServer or Managed Server(s).
  15. Click Next.
    The Install Application Assistant - Optional Settings window displays.

  16. Check the deployment name.

  17. Click Finish.
    The Settings for FCUBS11 - Overview screen displays.

  18. Click Save.

    A message displays on the Settings for FCUBS11 - Message window confirming that the setting updated successfully.

  19. Click the Activate Changes on the left pane.
    The message displays on the Settings for FCUBS11 window stating that All the changes have been activated. No restarts are necessary.
