Scenario 6: Patch Docupresentment Environment

Follow these steps to apply a patch to an Docupresentment Server installation:

1. Download the Docupresentment Server RTE script to a directory where you have execution permissions.
2. Execute the Docupresentment Server RTE installation script.

   Enter the installation path: You must point the installation to the existing directory or the user-specified directory name.

3. The system detects that a previous version of Docupresentment Server is resident. You must choose to back up and update or quit. Oracle highly recommends that you choose option 1 for back up and update. When doing so, the installation script will create a backup directory under the docserv directory.

   for version <release> already exist.

   1 = Backup and Upgrade Installation
   2 = Upgrade Installation
   3 = Quit

4. Confirm the chosen path or edit if necessary. Once correct, enter Y to complete the installation:

   RTE Installation Complete
   

Docupresentment installs the base system with default HTTP queues. The system should function without additional modification.
