Setting up the System as a Service

Note:

You cannot run Docupresentment Server as a service using HTTP queues for access from other client servers. To run Docupresentment Server as a service, you must use other queue system options such as JMS, WebSphere MQ, ActiveMQ, MSMQ, etc.

Installation provided option to setup a Window Service. Post install you can setup Docupresentment Server as a service by running the ds-service.bat batch file. Open a command shell window and go to the directory into which you installed Docupresentment Server and enter this command:

ds-service.bat

You should now see a window similar to the following window:

Docupresentment has been installed as a service on Windows when you see this message:

The Docucorp Watchdog Server automatic service was successfully 
installed.
