21.4 Certificate Upload

This topic describes how to upload certificates for secure authentication and communication in Routing Hub.

Certificate Upload feature allows users to configure secure communication parameters connecting with the provider.

By default, the Use Custom Certificates flag is toggled off. When enabled, it forces the Routing Hub to utilize explicitly uploaded certificates instead of relying on default system certificates.

Additionally, the SSL Protocol setting dictates the communication security layer by enforcing an SSL/TLS protocol version supported by the provider, with SSL set as the default value.

The Certificates subsection manages the security credentials necessary for establishing trusted connections:

The Client Certificate is used for client authentication and supports PFX and P12 formats, which require a passphrase alongside an optional alias.

The Server Certificate is used to verify the identity of the remote server and supports PEM and CRT formats.
