4.1.3 Terminal Lockout Policy

Oracle Financial Services recommends that a terminal lockout policy be put in place to automatically lockout unattended PC sessions after a certain duration. This is primarily because Oracle FLEXCUBE Investor Servicing will not lock out the browser session, although it does expire the browser session after certain period of inactivity. Users may however be able to access unattended sessions while Oracle FLEXCUBE Investor Servicing user is still logged in. Hence, organizations are expected to set a corporate policy for handling unattended PC sessions; it is recommended to enable the feature to lock workstations, or to enable password-protected screen savers.
