Adopting Redwood Designs

We are adopting Redwood designs for Oracle FLEXCUBE Investor Servicing, a wellresearched and widely adopted design system across Oracle applications.
  • The clarity of purpose tenet of the Redwood design philosophy emphasizes the importance of having a clear and specific purpose for every design element, feature, and interaction within a product. This means that each element of the design should serve a clear and distinct purpose, and that purpose should be immediately apparent to the user.
  • Further the Oracle Redwood design philosophy places a strong emphasis on designing for users, with a focus on user needs and user experience. The design philosophy is datadriven, meaning that design decisions are informed by user data and feedback. It emphasizes accessibility and inclusivity, with a focus on designing products that are usable by everyone. Finally, it emphasizes simplicity and elegance in the visual presentation of solutions, prioritizing the use of white space, clean typography, and simple colour palettes to create a visually appealing interface. The adoption of Redwood theme will enhance Oracle FLEXCUBE Investor Servicing user experience.

Defining workflow for handling the Subscription Transactions

Oracle FLEXCUBE Investor Servicing (FCIS) now allows business to define a workflow for handling the subscription transactions. The business can define multiple stages in which information needs to be captured. The user interface of the workflow then allows front office user to capture details in the appropriate stage as per his persona.

The pre-defined stages for the subscription transaction process are:
  • Initiation
  • Validation/Enrichment
  • Verification

Once these details are captured, the transaction is available for further processing.

Changing Entity Lengths Characters

The following is the list of fields in which the lengths of characters have been increased as part of this release:
  • User Id: The length has been changed from 20 to 320.
  • Customer Id: The length has been changed from 9 to 20.
  • Customer Name: The length has been changed from 104 to 140.
  • Bank Account Number: The length has been changed from 20 to 34.
  • Account Name: The length has been changed from 100 to 140.

The recent changes in entity length have necessitated adjustments across multiple screens within our system. Specifically, the following screens have been identified as directly affected by these modifications. Each of these screens will require updates to ensure they can handle the new entity length parameters appropriately.

This may involve modifications to the user interface, data validation processes, and backend data handling to accommodate the extended entity lengths without compromising functionality or user experience.

In addition to the directly impacted screens, several other functional screens are also affected by the changes in entity length. The impact on these screens may vary, but typically involves ensuring that the extended entity lengths are properly supported in all relevant operations, from data entry and storage to processing and display.

SWIFT Standard

The qualification has been completed according to the SWIFT 2023-2024 Standard, ensuring that all requirements and guidelines established by SWIFT for mandatory information. The qualification is done for both Incoming and Outgoing Messages. Please refer the pre-built Integrations document for the supported versions.

OJET version is improved from 15.1.0 to 17.0.4.
