14.1.2 Staging

Inputs to the data service can be provided at one of the following granularities:

  • Date: Rates are provided at the Date granularity and can be as follows:
    • Average for the Day
    • Spot Rate
    • Start of the Period
    • End of the Period
  • Period: Rates are provided for a period (effective start date and effective end date). This is typically used for internal computations to avoid currency rate fluctuations that affect incentive, pricing, estimates, budgets, and so on.
