5.2 Prerequisites

Refer to the following prequisites to be completed before proceeding with the export or import of migration definitions

• Upgrade the source and target setups to the same versions (23B or higher). While upgrading, ensure that the both the setups have the same version (including the last significant digit). For example you can't intiate migration between setups having versions 23.6.1 and 23.6.2.
• Assign users to new user groups required for Object Migration. For more information about the user groups, refer to User Roles and Functions.
• Create the required Catalog Extensions based on the source setup, for the following objects in target setup also by raising appropriate Issues and Actions.
  • New Business Terms
  • New Dimensions
  • Dimension Extensions
  • Fact Extensions
  • COA Extensions
• Complete the setup for the following entries in the Admin menu:
  • ERP Setting
  • Currency Conversion
  • COA Mapping
  • Balance Revaluation
  • Fiscal Period
  • Hierarchy Management
• Complete the GL Reconciliation for Type Configuration and Entity Configuration, in the target setup, based on the source setup.
