15.10 Balance Computation Management Ledger Data Compaction Pipeline
The Balance Computation Management Ledger Data Compaction Pipeline is designed to compute and consolidate balances at the Management Ledger grain. This pipeline also removes old and redundant records from the processing entities of the Balance Computation module. This cleanup reduces data volume, streamlines processing, and significantly improves execution times for both processing runs and result area jobs. By maintaining only relevant and current data, the system ensures faster, more efficient balance computations and reporting.
Note:
- Execution of the Balance Computation Management Ledger Data compaction pipeline is optional and is not mandatory .
- The Balance Computation Management Ledger Data Compaction Pipeline, if executed, must be executed at the end in a non-critical execution window after all other pipelines such as Balance Computation Management Ledger and Balance Revaluation Management Ledger are executed for a day.
- Even if the execution is skipped for few dates, the Balance Computation Management Ledger Data compaction must be executed for the current or the latest MIS DATE only.
- Execution of the Balance Computation Management Ledger Data Compaction pipeline retrospectively is not supported.
