20.1 Configuring Dimensions for IAC

This section allows you to configure dimensions for creating Data Access Rules in the AFCS application.

To configure dimensions for a data access rule, follow these steps:
  1. Login to the AFCS application.
  2. On the Home page, navigate to Administration and select Information Access Management tab.
  3. From the Data Access Rules page, click Setup to configure dimensions for data access rules. The Dimension Setup window is displayed.
  4. Enter information in the following fields.

    Fields Description
    Dimension Selection Select the corresponding dimensions from the drop down list and click Save.
    Lock Toggle After the configuration of dimensions is complete, the setup must be locked with the toggle on the user interface.

    Note:

    Once the Lock toggle is enabled, the IAC set up configuration will be locked permanently and cannot be modified.
    It is mandatory for users to create data access rules for all the configured dimensions in the AFCS application. Dimensions that must be configured should be available in Balance Computation Results and Results Subject areas.
