20.3 Mapping Users to IAC User Groups

Once the access rule has been created, it is necessary to map the User to the corresponding IAC User group to gain the relevant access in the application based on the authorized user. It is mandatory to login to the application with the mapped users atleast once.

To map a user to an IAC user group:

1. Login to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console.
2. Navigate to the Identity and Security page and select Domains.
3. Select the default domain and navigate to User Management tab.
4. Search for the User to map to the corresponding IAC User Group.
5. Navigate to Groups tab and click Assign user to group.
6. Select the corresponding IAC User Group and click Assign user. The user is now assigned to the IAC User Group.
   In IAM Console, the Description of the User Group refers to the Rule Name in IAC User interface.
