Checking the Connection

Perform the following procedure on the command prompt to check the connection:

1. Login to the OFSAA Server.
2. Navigate to $HYPERION_HOME/products/Essbase/EssbaseServer/bin directory.
3. Execute command ./ESSCMD.
4. Enter :::[0]-> login.
5. Enter the following details for the Login:
   1. Host Node ><ESSBASE_SERVER_HOST_NAME>
   2. User ><ADMINISTRATOR_USER_NAME>
   3. Password ><PASSWORD>
