Attaching Supporting Documents for Draft Records

When a record is added to a form definition and is in the Draft status, you can attach supporting documents to validate the data updated in the record. You can configure the file extensions that can be attached.

Complete the following procedure to add, delete or download a supporting document.
  1. Click Menu button in the required Forms Definition from the Data Entry page.
  2. Click Edit.
    The Entity Details page is displayed.
  3. Select Draft from the Status drop-down list.
    The entity records that are ready for entering data are displayed.
  4. Click the Actions button corresponding to the record for which you need to add, delete or download a supporting document.
  5. Select Attach, to open the Supporting Documents pane.
  6. Click Drag and Drop, to attach a file.
    You can attach only specific file formats. For more information, refer to Configure Document Upload File Formats and Size.
    A confirmation message is displayed, after the file is attached and the new file is added to the supporting documents list.
  7. Click Comments button corresponding to a document to add valid reasons and the document details.
  8. Click Download button, to download the supporting document.
  9. Click Delete button, to remove the supporting document.
