7.7.2.2 [m] Forecast (In Memory) versus [r] Actual (On Record)

As a Cash Flow Instrument is modeled through time, the data associated with this instrument changes due to payments, repricings, or other circumstances. These changes apply only in memory and do not affect the information stored in the Instrument tables.

A subscript notation of [m] for memory and [r] for detail record differentiates between the forecasted data and the actual data. For example, current payment refers to the current payment stored in the instrument table. Current payment refers to the current payment in memory that is updated each time a payment recalculation occurs.
