Adding Processing Segment

This option allows you to add a new processing segment, which is used to classify all the metadata in the selected Infodom logically.

To add a Processing Segment:

1. Navigate to the Processing Segments page.
2. Click Add. A new empty row is displayed in the list. Select the check box. The Add Processing Segment fields are enabled.
   (Optional) <Enter additional information about the step.>

   Note:

   If you click Add when a row is empty in the list, then the following warning message is displayed: Row is empty in Processing segment.
3. Enter the following details:
   • Processing Segment Code: Enter a distinct processing segment code. It allows only three characters.
   • Processing Segment Name: Enter a distinct processing segment name.
   • Description: Enter description for processing segment.
4. Click Save. A confirmation message is displayed.
