Reporting differences

The following differences affect BI transformation, reporting tables, historical output, dimension hierarchies, and report presentation.

BI transformation	Separate jobs are required to run SCD, Hierarchy Flattening, and ALMBI transformation to populate reporting tables.	Reporting tables are populated as part of process execution. A separate batch run is not required.
BI tables	Separate tables are used for base currency, for example (FCT_AGG_BASE_CCY_CASHFLOWS), and reporting currency, for example (FCT_AGG_CONS_CCY_CASHFLOWS).	A single table stores both base currency, (Consolidation flag = N), and reporting currency, (Consolidation flag = Y), output.
BI data	Only the latest output for an As-of Date is stored.	Output of all executions of a process is stored.
Dimension hierarchy	Only one hierarchy per dimension can be used in reports.	All hierarchies are available in reports.
Report presentation	Only one As-of Date and process can be used to view reports.	Multiple As-of Dates, processes, and execution IDs can be selected in the same report for comparison or consolidation.
