8.2.2 Execution using ICC Batch

To create a batch, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Common Object Maintenance, select Operations, and then select Batch Maintenance to display the Batch Maintenance screen.
  2. Click the Add icon for adding the new batch definition.

    The Batch Maintenance window is used to view the Simplified Batches, but you cannot edit them. Create and modify them within the Simplified Batch window.

  3. Provide the all necessary details in the Batch Maintenance pop-up screen and click the Save button.

    The Batch Maintenance window allows you to edit the description of the selected batch, duplicate the batch, and execute it in a sequence by selecting the check boxes.

  4. Select the new batch definition in the Batch Name grid.

    This window allows you to define a new batch.

  5. Click the Add icon in the Tasks Details grid for adding the task details.

    Provide the following details in the Task Definition” pop-up screen and click Save.

    • Components: RUN ExecuTABLE
    • Executable: bsp_forecastset_export.sh,<Infodom Name>,<Forecast set id>

    Example: bsp_forecastset_export.sh,OFSBSPINFO,200275

    The Task Definition window allows you to define different details for the task.

    This window allows you to edit the details of tasks for the batch.

  6. Navigate to Common Object Maintenance, select Operations, and then select Batch Execution.
  7. Select the new batch definition in the Batch Details grid and also provide a date and click Execute Batch for executing the batch.

    Note:

    The selected date is not used anywhere so it can be any date.

    The Batch Execution window allows you to execute the batch.

    The Batch Execution Status pop-up window displays the status of the excute batch.

    This batch execution will export the dimensions and Forecast Set Cash Flow results.
