6.18.3 Encrypting Passwords for SDTM

You must encrypt the passwords that are used to access the various directories required for SDTM. Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Common Web Service page by clicking Administration, then Web Service Configuration and Common Web Service.
2. Enter values for the following passwords:
   • SDTM Archive Directory Password
   • SDTM CTR Efile Submission Directory Password
   • SDTM CTR Acknowledgment Directory Password
   • SDTM CTR Message Directory Password
   • SDTM DOEP Efile Submission Directory Password
   • SDTM DOEP Acknowledgment Directory Password
   • SDTM DOEP Message Directory Password
3. Click Encrypt.

   The encrypted passwords will be listed in the Manage Common Parameters page. The text field for the passwords will be disabled.
