About the Sequence Scenario
There are a variety of detection modules for identifying different types of behaviors, referred to as scenarios. Scenarios are clustered into scenario classes, which represent sets of related behaviors that are generally handled in a similar manner. For each scenario that a solution set provides, one or more patterns are specified. These patterns define data relationships that can help to identify instances of the behavior of interest. Using a detection module, business data is searched for records that satisfy the patterns of behavior that a scenario defines. When one or more data records match a scenario’s pattern of behavior, a match is created. The data records that triggered the match are associated with it for analysis and audit purposes. These are referred to as matched records in the application.
The Sequence Scenario Editor provides access to the pattern elements that you need to create when using this editor for detecting behaviors of interest. It also provides access to all required features and functionality for creating sequence patterns.
