Accessing the Scenario Manager

To access the Scenario Manager, you provide login information and then select a domain in which to work. You can configure the Scenario Manager to display an editor other than the default DataSet Editor. Contact your system administrator to change the editor that displays when you open the Scenario Manager.

To access the Scenario Manager, follow these steps:

1. Copy and paste the common.dtd and pattern.dtd files from C:\Oracle_Mantas_Platform\behavior_detection\toolkit\xml to C:\Oracle_Mantas_Platform\behavior_detection\toolkit\bin.
2. Execute the kddstart.bat file.
   The system displays the Login dialog box.
3. Type your user ID and password (with a Data Miner role and associated privileges) in the Login and Password fields.
4. Click Login to display the Select a Domain dialog box.
5. Select the desired domain in the Domains list.
6. Click OK.
   By default, the DataSet Editor dialog box displays the datasets for the domain in the Attributes area. Refer to About the DataSet Editor, for more information about the editor.
