Creating a Link Analysis Job
To create a Link Analysis job, follow these steps:
From the Windows menu, select
Jobs, and then Link
Analysis.
The Link Analysis Job Editor displays.
Optional: Complete the
Description and Status
fields of the Job Options tab.
Click the Link Analysis Options tab to display it.
Select the desired Network Definition from the Select a Network
Definition drop-down list.
The system populates the Select One or More Prunable Node Types with the
available nodes. Selecting a prunable node type for the Link Analysis job is
optional.
Select the check box of one or more nodes to prune.
Complete the Lookback Period, New Network
Lookback Period, and Minimum Number of
Nodes fields.
Selecting a minimum number of nodes for the Link Analysis job is
optional.
Check the Status Bar at the bottom of the window for any
entry errors into these fields.
From the Job menu, click
Save.
The Save option is not available if an error
occurs.
If no errors occur, the system saves the new Link Analysis job and
displays the job in the Jobs area.
