Creating a New Scenario

To create a new scenario using the Rule Scenario Editor, follow these steps:

1. From the Windows menu of the DataSet Editor, select Rule Patterns.
   The Rule Scenario Editor window displays.
2. From the Scenario menu of the Rule Scenario Editor, select Create New Scenario.
   Alternatively: Click the Create New Scenario button from the toolbar.
   The Select Use window displays.
3. Select the environment type of the new scenario. For example, BRK, EXP, or SYS.
4. Click Select.
   The right panel displays the scenario fields in the Scenario Elements area.
5. Type the information in the Scenario Elements area.
6. A primary rule displays [NO DESCRIPTION] string in the Pattern Editor area.
7. Enter information of the primary rule.

   Note:

   A scenario must have at-least one primary rule.
8. Click Save.
