Creating a Rule Matcher Job

To create a rule matcher job, follow these steps:

1. Click Windows in the File menu, select the Jobs option, and then click Rule Matcher.
2. From the Job menu, select New.
3. Click the Job Options tab and complete the Description and Status fields.
4. Click the Rule Options tab and select a pattern and threshold set.
5. Click the DataSets tab and follow these steps:
   • Click Select to select a dataset. Refer to Common Features for instructions on using the Select a Dataset dialog box.
   • Optional: Configure the job for a Salient Entity.
6. From the Job menu, select Save.
   The system saves your job. If you select a status of New, the job becomes available to the dispatcher to execute immediately.
