Defining Bindings Tab Properties for a Row

Use the Bindings tab of the Edit Pattern Row dialog box to define any variables you want to capture in a specified pattern.

Standard uses of bound variables can include:

• Setting constants to refer to in pattern constraints.
• Storing information from one record to compare against another.
• Tracking running counts or aggregate amounts across multiple records.
• Capturing information for display in highlights.
